The water infrastructure in Atlantic City is beyond it’s life expectancy and is in need of replacement of both water mains and lead services. Mount was contracted to perform this work on several blocks of Atlantic City in order to provide ACMUA customers with clean safe water.

Like any underground utility project, there are always challenges due to unforeseen conditions below grade. This particular project presented multiple problems with the old trolley track running down the center of the proposed water main. Due to the proximity of other utilities in the street, the water main couldn’t be moved and Mount was forced to cut the old tracks out in order to access our work.
