Mount Construction Company was contracted by the City of Atlantic City to perform Maintenance Dredging and bulkhead repairs in the Gardner’s Basin Marina in Atlantic City. The scope of the project included mechanical dredging and disposal of approximately 10,000 cy of material, installation of 3 helical pile tiebacks, and installation of 3 dywidag anchors.

Due to the lack of space for conventional dewatering, Mount outfitted their trucks with watertight gaskets to haul the wet, dredge material to the final disposal site. Mount worked with the City to delay the project after Labor Day to allow the Marina and its patrons to operate the remainder of the summer season.
